2D Shooter Final
My modified and finalized 2D Shooter project for CAS 117 at MSU. List of major changes include:
- Instructions screen in main menu made into actual screen, provides brief prelude to the game and short descriptions of some enemy types.
- Addition of third level and diversification of all 3 levels. Each level now has varying (and increasingly difficult) enemy placements and numbers.
- New enemy type: Spread Shooter (color palette changed to yellow to distinguish it from other shooters). Will not move and will instead fire 3 shots in a forwards spread while aiming for the player.
Other minor changes include:
- Slight alterations to enemy behaviors, mainly through fire rates
- Slight changes to various out-of-game screens (including special congratulations screen for completing third level)
